The Champions of Jörd is the most prominent Guild in all of Jörd. They are referred to as the COJ more casually. They provide services to those that pay their price. Services such as (though not limited to):
Security / Guard Duties
Treasure Hunting
Escort of goods
Investigative
Research
The COJ is divided between three sects. The Hammer, or Warriors sect. The Dagger, or Rogues sect. And the Staff, or Wizards sect.
Each sect has appointment of their representing leader. These three individuals form the council. And the council appoints the Paragon, or Grand Leader for the Guild.
Finnius Flamebeard is the Mage's leader (also known as the Arch Mage of COJ). He is Human, with flame read hair and long red beard. Appointed long ago, he is the oldest within the council and attends the least amount of meetings. Busy with studies, he tends to allow the other leaders do the heavy lifting required at maintaining the guild. Filing his requests through pages, and sending proxy's to speak on his behalf.
Dexter Fal'cie is the Rogue's leader (also known as the Shadow of the COJ). Also Human, he is taller than most rogues and traditionally with these types dresses in black from head to toe. Recently appointed into the council due to a disagreement between the former Shadow and the Paragon. Dexter holds little influence within the council, and even less with some of those seasoned rogues under his order.
Glim Warmark is the Warrior's leader. (also known as the Heart of the COJ). Glim is a Dwarf originally hailing from the undermines beneath Mount Durin. He is proud, sturdy Dwarf of remarkable strength. The stories of his feats are proclaimed in the Warrior's halls daily. He is held in esteemed valor from all around him. He follows the will of the Paragon, and is unwavering. He travels with a contingent of hand picked guardsmen, he forms no basis on race keeping two Elven archers, and a burly Human named Mace who runs the bodyguard detachment for all council members known as the Gauntlet.
Sir Alphonso Levix VIII is the Guilds Paragon and ultimate leader. An Elf of a wealthy linage, he has been the guiding hand behind the guild for 20+ years. A former adventurer he brought his kin together to build his dream. The only member of his original allies is Glim, the rest have either passed due to one reason or another, or have left of their own accord. Sir Levix is known as a great Battle-wizard. Using his natural dexterity, his superb swordsman-ship and arcane knowledge to defeat his foes. He himself has given up adventuring but does keep his skills sharp.
