lol, never done anything like this so don't laugh haha..
Characters name: Fleury
Race: Half- Elf
The Beginning of Fleury's Journey;
Fleury was born an only child to an Elf father and a human mother. His father was a rogue assassin who was hired by a King to murder his daughter, the plot was to blame a neighboring kingdom for his daughters death so he could have fuel for his war.
When the assassin saw the princess for the first time he could not bring death as he promised to the king and so he told the princess of her fathers plot and devised a plan to help her escape.
The assassin cut her arm just enough for blood to show on his blades and ripped the golden chain from her neck and brought both before the King. The King was possessed with so much hate that he ignored his feelings that his daughter was still alive and believed the assassin.
The King now had his war, while the assassin had his true love.
The assassin and princess lived together in secret, isolated from the world, even having a child of their own. Until one day, after the King won all his wars, he heard whispers, ones of a human princess and an elf assassin living together in a not so decent woods.
The King, believing this to be his daughter sent 12 of his best men on horse back to seek them out. In the first weeks of searching they captured the princesses but the rogue assassin nor their child were found.
The King came to the woods and confronted his daughter and demanded the location of the assassin. The Princess would not give in to the Kings demands. During the King's interrogation he felt as though the assassin was watching from a distance so he placed the princess head on a wood cutters block and picked up an axe near by, screaming out for the assassin to show himself.
Just as the King had enough the axe came down and then the assassin appeared. The King stopping his swing just in time, he was asked by the assassin for a trade, his own life for the princesses.
The King knowing that the Rogue could easily disappear as quickly as he appeared if he made a move for him, so he agreed to the deal. The King laughed out loud and seeing as though he got his war and he no longer needed his daughters death, he would enact his revenge on the assassin.
As the King tossed the princess in the direction of the rogue he told her to never come back to these lands or he would finish what he started.
The Rogue handed the princess the reigns to their horse and told her where he hide Fleury, he then told her not to look back. The King captured the assassin and found use for that axe once more, this time finishing the job.
The Princess fled with her son to a new land called Jörd, this is where she would raised her son under a new identity. Fleury grew up not knowing of his mothers linage or his fathers past until one day a week before his 15th birthday, his mother caught an unknown illness and as she lay dying she gave Fleury his Fathers journals that he kept from a time when he was 15 years old. In his fathers journals it would tell of his great adventures but most importantly it gave secrets of a rogue assassins life and the skills and training required to be one.
Fleury`s mother would die that night but not before telling him the story of her true love and her wicked father.
Fleury, wanting nothing more than to revenge his fathers death by killing the King, would first follow the same training his father took.
In the first chapters of his fathers journal he spoke of a tournament in Jörd, the Young Adventurers Competition. Fleury vowed to win the tournament in his Fathers name.
